Cead Míle Fáilte Romhat

A Hundred Thousand Welcomes…

This is a traditional Irish greeting, with which I would like to welcome you to my site.

This is a selection of my poetry, written and inspired by the ancient Sacred sites in the Tara Valley, where I was born & raised.

I have composed poems about other Sacred Irish places I have visited, and poems about notable people & interesting events and stories I have been told by people visiting Tara.

  2. Brilliant selection of the many many interesting poems you have written over the years Kyrie. Your style of descriptive poetry, easy to read and understand, never ceases to amaze me. Your poems have a real magic about them, which transports one to the place, event, people or occasion that the poems describes. This enables the reader to relive what you, the writer actually saw, at the time you penned the poem. Thus the reader feels that he or she is actually there at the place, event etc., visualising what exactly happened there.
Keep it going Kyrie and I look forward to your future poems.
    Good luck. Gemma Macey
